    The Local Rules of the Lotus Valley Golf Resort To be read in conjunction with the Rules of Golf as published by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews
    1. Out of Bounds (Rule 27)
    i) Beyond any fence or road bounding the course.
    ii) The clubhouse and car parks, practice putting green and areas defined by white stakes
    2. Ground Under Repair (Rule 25)
    i) Any area defined by white lines
    ii) Staked Trees, Flower Beds and Landscaping
    3. Immovable Obstructions (Rule 24)
    i) Artificially surfaced roads and paths.
    ii) Relief from an immovable obstruction is permitted when the obstruction lies within two club-lengths of the putting green and the ball lies within two club-lengths of the immovable obstruction and there is intervention on the line of play between the ball and the hole.
    iii) Electricity pylons, poles and associated wires.
    4. Integral Parts of the Course
    i) Un-staked trees
    5. Power Lines (Rule 20–5)
    If a ball strikes a power line, the player must disregard that stroke, abandon the ball and play another ball as near as possible to the spot from which the original ball was played.
    6. Penalty Areas
    Plenalty Areas are defined by red or yellow staked.

    Please Note • You and the whole of your group should report to the starter at least 10 minutes before your allotted tee off time.
    • Your Starting Time will be the time you Tee Off - please be prepared to play at your allotted time.
    • Please play without delay - we expect your game to take longer than 4 hours and 20 minutes,
    • Distance Markers show the approximate distance in yards to the center of the green. Lotus Valley accepts no liability or responsibility for loss of personal items or injury sustained during your round of golf.
    • You will be liable for any damage to the golf cart during your round of golf.
